We believe children should be presented with a fascinating learning environment to explore and access independently with the support of interested and knowledgeable adults.
We are always developing and adding to our environment and believe children learn equally well in the indoor and outdoor learning environment. We respond to what the children are interested in and aim for all of our children to love learning and exploring.
"Play is essential for children’s development, building their confidence as they learn to explore, to think about problems, and relate to others. Children learn by leading their own play, and by taking part in play which is guided by adults. Practitioners must respond to each child’s emerging needs and interests, guiding their development through warm, positive interaction."(EYFS Statutory Framework, 2017)
